Updation

Wow, I really don't know what to do with this post. (I often venture into posts not knowing what I'm going to say, but by the end I've usually constructed all these new ideas and realised just how obsessed I am with certain things and created things to do for myself when I get off the internet)
I went back to school last week! I'm officially a year eleven, and girl am I feeling the difference.
I'm enjoying my subjects so much more than I thought I would and I'm so motivated to do my work. Like today I got up and the first thing I wanted to start on was homework. What is that? Well I shall tell you: it is enjoying one's studies and education!
I'm lucky to have great teachers so I'm really looking forward to this year. One new subject I'm studying is philosophy, and my teacher said something really interesting in our first class. She said that we should not be tolerant people. At first I was like what? How can you say something like that?
But then she went on that there is a problem today in that too often we say, "Oh it's okay, you can believe your thing and I'll believe mine and we can just leave it like that" without talking about it. And without discussion and debate we don't find truth. I've never looked at it that way before.

I've always been a massive letter writing fanatic, but relatively recently I've gotten into posting letters too. And that's not exactly the most economical habit nowadays but damn is it FERRRRN (fun eheh).

I keep looking at this and imagining sliding down it and I honestly can't not feel remorse that I can't do it in real life

I know exactly the kind of person and apartment this kitchen would belong to if it were in Italy

In keeping with my 2013 resolutions I can proudly say that I've read EVERY SINGLE DAY OF 2013 SO FAR.
I'm working on a post about books I've read (as well as movies I've seen) lately so keep an eye out for that. I would greatly recommend you recommending me books. Weird and niche genres would be especially appreciated, as well as interesting non-fiction that could still be read as a story, poetry and of course a good picture book is never unwanted.

And here's me thinking Missoni couldn't possibly be any more amazing
It's like they do it to make fun of me or something

And in my aim to become more of a promoter of awareness of topics of great significance, and to write more, I've decided to officially put down a new outline for my posts.
Hopefully I'll post one or two diary-like things a week that include hand written stuff, as well as bits and bobs like vibes, playlists and food I've been into. Very optimistically (though not to unrealistically) I want to say I'll do some sort of art post once a week, then the rest will be articles and writing. This isn't strict and there'll be a bunch of other random stuff I'm sure too, but I'm just doing this because I've felt a bit lost (oh crycrycry).
And of course awe full posts each Sunday! I really need to get back onto that. Because I didn't do one yesterday, this post's just a bit of a mash of links/videos/music/vibes/random etceteras.

My fantabulous friend Georgia and I did the friendship tag for her YouTube channel. She's just started out but I can just see her making a name for herself in YouTube. I always get funny seeing myself in videos because a lot of the time I feel like I'm a bit nervous looking or something and my actual personality doesn't come across (like for example in this video I think I seem meaner than I am because Georgia and I are always mucking around making fun of each other and hitting each other). You can watch this and hear my voice as if I was, oh I don't know, a real person? I often feel slightly odd hearing the voices of bloggers I follow; I feel like I get to know their personalities but then seeing them (please ignore the horridly corny cliche) 'come to life' as best as a video allows is totally different. So yeah. Odd.

Hope you're having a lovely day.

Isn't this one of the nicest things?

EDIT: I can't believe I forgot to do this, but I have to acknowledge that none of the pictures belong to me or are of my own work (unfortunately). So dreadfully sorry!!

    1. Thanks! Isn't Jimi the best? But the letter isn't mine - I don't make them that cool, sadly.
